Customizing Mobile Coupon Widget #7 – Adding Pictures to Individual Coupons

Customizing Mobile Coupon Widget #7 – Adding Pictures to Individual Coupons

BY PARKER MITCHELL

The default picture assigned to each Mobile Coupon created is the red Special Offer picture (shown below).

However, if you have a specific image you want to utilize instead of the default image, then you can change it go going to Mobile Tools -> Mobile Coupons -> edit pencil next to the widget that the mobile coupon is attached to.

Then, go to the Main Body tab and scroll down.  You will see all of the Mobile Coupons attached to that widget and either a red symbol or green smiley face.  If there is a red symbol, then no custom image has been uploaded for that coupon.  Press the Upload Image button next to the coupon you want to update and upload your image.  You can also change an image of a coupon that already has a custom image with Edit Image.

If you do not like how the image is displayed on your mobile coupon, then there we can use a Mobile Webpage instead of a Mobile Coupon which allows us to make the image display perfectly on the screen.  This will take away the Redeem trackability of the coupon, but is often used for broadcasts that go out to everyone because everyone gets the coupon and you are often too busy to track the redemptions when you are super busy.  We will do all of the work to add images to your mobile coupons and consult you on the best way to display images that are not displaying correctly on the Mobile Coupon.  The purpose of this post is to show you the process we go through when creating a mobile coupon so you can better understand the capabilities of our system.
